Virtual Production-Ready
The Technocrane 22+ is an ideal solution for virtual production without relying on ceiling-mounted sensors or line-of-sight systems. Unlike traditional tracking setups that use pucks and optical markers, often disrupted by lights, silks, set pieces, or even the crane itself, our Technocrane features built-in position sensors that track all crane movements. This data can be exported live via Ethernet directly into Unreal Engine or saved for post-production use, enabling seamless camera-to-environment sync in virtual production workflows. By eliminating tracking interference and streamlining complex setups, the Technocrane 22+ not only increases creative flexibility but also significantly boosts efficiency and production value on set.
The Crane That Goes Where Others Can’t
One of the most unique features of the Technocrane 22+ is its versatility in tight spaces. While it offers a lens height of 24 feet in overslung mode, the arm retracts fully, allowing it to operate in compact environments, even small studios. The entire system can fit through a standard 36" doorway, making it one of the few cranes in its class that’s both high-reaching and maneuverable. This flexibility opens up new possibilities for productions that want the scale and dynamic movement of a large crane without being limited by location size or access.
